1. What Paros is

Paros is a technology platform that connects users with each other to facilitate arrangements related to accommodation, transportation, guiding, gear rental, and other services in adventure communities in Mexico. Paros is NOT the provider of these services, nor a party to any agreement between users. Services are provided entirely by local users (hereinafter, "Hosts").

2. Acceptance

By using the Paros app or the paros.mx website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Registration and accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account and all activity under it. You must be of legal age under Mexican law.

4. User responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, compliance with their tax obligations, and delivering the services they offer with appropriate quality and safety. Travelers are responsible for evaluating offerings, honoring arrangements, and behaving respectfully within the community.

5. Content policy

It is prohibited to publish illegal, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, misleading, or infringing content. Paros may remove content and suspend accounts without prior notice when these terms are violated.

6. Limitation of liability

Paros acts solely as a technology intermediary. It does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or fulfillment of services offered by Hosts, nor the accuracy of posted information. To the maximum extent permitted by Mexican law, Paros shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

7. Dispute resolution

Disputes between users must be resolved between the parties. Paros may, at its discretion, facilitate communication but does not arbitrate disputes. For disputes with Paros, the parties submit to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, including the Federal Consumer Protection Law and the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

9. Changes

Paros may modify these terms. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the changes.
